Meet Your Guide – John Pineda
John Pineda brings over 20 years of fly fishing experience across New Mexico and Arkansas. He cut his teeth on fly fishing at just seven years old, and that early start has grown into a lifelong dedication to teaching and guiding anglers. John thrives on sharing the excitement of fly fishing—introducing beginners to their first cast, helping experienced anglers refine their skills, or revealing the subtle art of reading water and presenting flies effectively.
His commitment to the fly fishing community is strong. John is actively involved with the Mayfly Project, serves on the Arkansas Fly Fishers Fly Tying Committee, and is an active member of Trout Unlimited, supporting conservation and the health of fisheries for generations to come. With John as your guide, you’re not just booking a fishing trip—you’re gaining a mentor, teacher, and passionate angler dedicated to making every day on the water educational, exciting, and memorable.
Smallmouth Bass on the Fly
